{"id":2654,"date":"2014-12-13T19:09:34","date_gmt":"2014-12-13T19:09:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/?p=2654"},"modified":"2014-12-13T19:09:34","modified_gmt":"2014-12-13T19:09:34","slug":"art-deco-8b-panel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/2014\/12\/art-deco-8b-panel\/","title":{"rendered":"Art Deco 8B panel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I think I&#8217;ve all but decided I&#8217;m going to &#8220;remake&#8221; my Art Deco 8B panel with a new slightly larger model and issue it in hand-pressed fired terracotta\u00a0 too.<\/p>\n<p>The 8B design which I&#8217;ve had for years is this one:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/8b.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2655\" src=\"http:\/\/randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/8b.jpg\" alt=\"8b\" width=\"588\" height=\"389\" srcset=\"https:\/\/randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/8b.jpg 588w, https:\/\/randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/8b-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/8b-453x300.jpg 453w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 588px) 100vw, 588px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s 16-1\/2&#8243; wide and if I &#8220;convert&#8221; this to terracotta using the existing design the shrinkage of the clay will make it wind up in my opinion on the &#8220;dinky&#8221; side around at around 14&#8243; wide, so I&#8217;m thinking that if I make a new model around the original size of my Nortown D5 panel it will wind up around 19-3\/4&#8243; wide or whatever I come up with so it would also fit the brick cources of a standard brick wall without having to do fancy extra cutting of bricks to make it fit,\u00a0 if someone wanted to install it in a brick wall.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I think I&#8217;ve all but decided I&#8217;m going to &#8220;remake&#8221; my Art Deco 8B panel with a new slightly larger model and issue it in hand-pressed fired terracotta\u00a0 too.
